Carol started in the custom picture framing business in Plano Texas over twenty years ago after her youngest child started school. She enjoyed cross stiching at that time, just as she does now, and framed her own work at home. She put that skill to use by going to work for a franchise framer called Fast Frame and then was recruited away by another. It was time that Carol put her skills to use with her own business and she started Framing Memoreze in 2005. She created a customer base of stitchery ladies and gentlemen, while competing with them in the Texas State Fair as a multiple time Blue Ribbon Winner, and also framed a multitude of genres from simple portraits to very complicated family memorabilia shadow boxes. We decided to move to Bryan / College Station where we sent two of our three children to A&M because we fell in love with the atmosphere, traditions, and people; both of us growing up in Nebraska had a very comforting feeling with B/CS. As well, we have a grandchild in B/CS and a couple in Roundrock (not too far) and two up in McKinney.
Carol has gained a customer base following that expands the United States and stretches into Europe so she decided to continue blessing people with her skills even after she sold Framing Memoreze in Plano. She has now started Framing Legacy (because she is a legacy in the framing community in my mind) from her home location in Bryan Texas. We set up a complete workshop with all of the state of the art framing equipment so she won't skip a beat in her framing expertise. Setting up the frame shop at our house has allowed Carol to reduce her overhead expenses so she can extend those savings to you. Because she is operating in the home location she will do business on an appointment basis which allows a very personalized touch.
